Alpha Sessions Show gets Exclusive Interview with Mystery Jets

The Alpha Sessions show bagged an exclusive interview with successful indie-rock band Mystery Jets. The band, who have had four UK Top 40 singles and three Top 40 albums, came in to chat about their brand new track called “Hospital Radio”, and Radio Brockley was the first stop on a mini tour of hospital radios across the UK to launch the release. Lead singer Blaine Harrison is a big supporter of hospital radio, having been a patient himself at a number of hospital radios. He has a condition called Spina Bifida, and wanted to highlight the good work of the NHS and how hospital radio has helped him. In the interview, he talks about his condition, and how volunteers at hospital radio stations have helped to support him.

The special interview aired on Friday 5th July on a special Alpha Sessions show, hosted by Emma and Alan Joyce. However you can now listen back to highlights from the interview via our new podcast service here: https://www.spreaker.com/user/11300003/mystery-jets-interview-without-music-2
