Alpha Sessions Welcomes More Great Musical Guests

Radio Brockley’s “new music” show, the Alpha Sessions continues to welcome more amazing artists to the studio. The show’s YouTube channel has now had over 13,000 views and a twitter following of over 1,600, with a waiting list of artists asking to be on the show. Selected interviews are now also available to download as podcasts via Spotify and other download sites.

The programme, hosted by Emma and Alan Joyce, plays out on Radio Brockley on Friday evenings at 8pm and on Sundays at 6pm. The link to their podcast sessions can be found here: https://www.spreaker.com/show/alpha-sessions

LAUREN COLLINS
Lauren Collins grew up in Auckland in New Zealand, but made the bold move to London this summer, and has quickly immersed herself in the busking and gigging scene here. One of her first appearances since moving was right here on Alpha Sessions. Find out more about her here

NATALIE LINDI
We first discovered Natalie Lindi at a gig at the Camden Chapel. She’s from northwest London and sings a mix of covers and her own original compositions, blending her extraordinary voice with piano and guitar. She is destined for a big future.

ANNA AARONS
Anna is no stranger to the Radio Brockley studio, having first appeared in December 2018. She now has a new single out called “Words”, and continues to perform her originals, as well as being an established and successful Amy Winehouse tribute act. Read more about her here

LUCY AND LA MER
Lucy is based in L.A. and visited Radio Brockley on a two-day whistle-stop tour of the UK. She has shared the stage with the likes of Moby, and has made a name for herself on the live scene with her interactive audience participation and focus on community activism. Read more about her here

JENEM
Jenem is a singer-songwriter from North West England. Over the past 5 years she has been performing at venues ranging from local pubs, markets and small music venues through to the highly established 02 Academy Leeds. She has recently relocated to London, and her new single “Skyline” is out now. Read more here 

EMMA WITHERS
Emma can often be seen on the London busking circuit at stations such as Waterloo and Euston. She has drawn comparisons with the likes of Sia and Florence & the Machine. Her new EP “Ride Or Die” is available now. Visit her Facebook page here

BEE BAKARE
As well as being a hugely talented singer-songwriter in her own right, she is also the founder of a monthly show called Soul Stripped Sessions which introduces the very best in up and coming female soul artists. She has a brand new single out called “Fight For Love”. You can read more here
