Elvis Presley Confirmed as Most Requested Act of 2010s Decade

Elvis Presley has been confirmed as the most requested artist of the 2010s decade. He was in the annual top three on five occasions in the last decade, including spending the last two years at number one. Elvis is now more consistently popular on the request chart than ever before, taking over from Frank Sinatra who was the most popular in the noughties decade, with Cliff Richard topping the nineties chart and Madonna for the eighties.

Queen finished the 2010s decade as the second most requested artist, missing our annual Top 10 only once during that time. The Beatles finished in third place. Ed Sheeran was the highest placed newcomer of the decade, finishing in fourth place having topped our chart twice. Adele finished in sixth place for the decade, having also topped the annual chart on two occasions. Rihanna also made the Top 10 of the decade, but fell short of the Top 40 for the last three years of the decade.
