Keith Reeve Celebrates 40 Years at RB

Radio Brockley members past and present joined together to mark Keith Reeve’s 40 years of service to London’s longest-running hospital radio station.

Keith joined back in the autumn of 1977 and since then has gone on to become one of the station’s most loyal and influential members. He has been a trustee for around 28 years, the treasurer since 1982, has led most of the station’s technical projects over the last 30 years, and is the founder member of the station’s longest-running weekday show.

He has also built bridges with many other departments at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, and both Rob Hurd (CEO) and Professor Tony Goldstone CBE (Chairman) sent messages of thanks for Keith’s hard work.

Other highlights of a special evening included a live phone-in by “Diddy” David Hamilton, messages from The Emperor Roscoe and Clive Anderson, and a live presentation by the Mayor of Harrow, and the President of the Hospital Broadcasting Association June Snowden. In addition, here’s a special interview with Keith about his time at Radio Brockley, with a few thoughts from some of the station’s other long-serving members:
