RNOH Carol Service 2020 Podcast Available

Radio Brockley has now published the podcast of this year’s “virtual” Carol Service for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.

The Carol service has been a long-standing tradition at the RNOH, and has been broadcast on Radio Brockley every year for over 30 years. However, with things being rather different this year, the 2020 Carol Service has been produced as an online event.

The podcast version is led by the hospital chaplain, Father Paul Reece, and features a special message from Interim CEO and Chief Nursem Paul Fish. Music is provided by the Buttercup Singers (taken from the 2019 Carol Service) and also features a lovely recording from long-time patient Ushma Soni. There are also readings recorded by a number of staff across the hospital.

The Carol service will be played out on Radio Brockley this Sunday 20th December at 11am, and then repeated on Christmas Eve at 9pm and Christmas Day at 11am.
