Alpha Sessions Welcomes Online Guests
Radio Brockley’s “new music” show, the Alpha Sessions has had to adapt its format in recent months, with artists not able to visit the studio. The show’s presenters are now recording pre-recorded interviews online via Zoom, and that are now available to watch on YouTube. The show’s YouTube channel has had around 16,500 views, and selected sessions are also available to download via podcast at all the leading podcast sites.
The programme, hosted by Emma and Alan Joyce, plays out on Radio Brockley on Friday evenings at 8pm and on Sundays at 6pm. Together with Ron Laver, they have put together around 170 sessions since the show first started back in 2008.
It is not yet known when studio sessions will be able to resume, but artists looking to request an online session can email: alphasessions@gmail.com
