Radio Brockley Nominated for Best Speech Package in National Awards

Radio Brockley has been nominated for Best Speech Package in the annual, national Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA) awards.

The station, which has now been nominated at 11 consecutive HBA awards ceremonies, has previously won the Best Speech Package on four previous occasions – in 2004, 2014, 2017, and last year in 2022.

This year we have been shortlisted for a package we put together on the Spinal Sarcoma Survey, hosted by Keith Reeve. Ron Laver edited the package.

The winners will be announced at the annual HBA Conference, which will be held in person for the first time since 2019, in Bolton on Saturday 25th March.

Radio Brockley did not enter the top award for “Station Of The Year” this year – but nominations for the top award include last year’s winners Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd.
