RNOH Staff Awards Winners Announced for 2020
It’s become one of the highlights of the year at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital! Staff from across the hospital gathered together for the annual gala dinner, featuring the Staff Achievement Awards, which seeks to recognise outstanding service given to the hospital across all the staff and visitor teams in the last year.
The 18th Staff Achievement Awards ceremony was hosted by comedian and broadcaster Ian Stone, who revealed in an interview with us that he started his broadcasting career down the road at Radio Northwick Park in 1990. The audience were also treated to a performance from the Buttercup Singers, led by Christine Bows.
The awards have gone from strength to strength in recent years, having previously been a low-key presentation in the hospital’s Charles Lack theatre. Music was then introduced to the proceedings, thanks to Radio Brockley. The awards then briefly moved to the Aspire National Training Centre, before settling at The Village hotel in Elstree.
