Alpha Sessions To Celebrate 10 Years With Live Music Weekend
Radio Brockley is to host a weekend of live music to mark 10 years of it’s new music show, the Alpha Sessions. 19 former guests are returning to the programme to perform live and be interviewed on a very special weekend of shows this coming weekend – on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October. It will be the biggest live music event ever seen on Radio Brockley, and possibly the strongest line-up of music talent ever assembled on one weekend on hospital radio.
The weekend will be hosted by Emma and Alan Joyce, the show’s main presenters. They will be joined in the studio by a host of other Radio Brockley volunteers who will assist with looking after the artists, ward visiting, helping with social media, and helping with food.
The sessions will not only be broadcast live on Radio Brockley, but streamed live on Facebook on the Alpha Sessions page – a first for Radio Brockley. The sessions will also be made available on YouTube.
