Elvis Ahead in Mid Year 2026 Request Chart

In the year the Radio Brockley will soon be celebrating its 60th anniversary, Elvis Presley currently has a narrow lead in the race to be the most requested artist of the year. Elvis was confirmed last year as our all-time most requested artist ahead of Queen, who are also currently runners up in the race for the 2026 crown – having previously topped our chart on 5 other occasions.

Ed Sheeran currently lies in 3rd place for the year, and will be looking for his 6th consecutive year in our Top 5.

Taylor Swift could land her highest position since 2015 as she climbs into our mid-year Top 5 at number 4.

Neil Diamond rounds off the Top 5 at the halfway point. He’s never previously finished higher than number 7 and that was 40 years ago!!

Last year’s number one Abba currently stand in 6th place in the mid-year standings, whilst last year’s runner up, The Beatles, fall to 8th.

It looks like we will see big climbs this year for Harry Styles, John Lennon and Nat King Cole.

The highest new entry looks like being Olivia Dean, who has been setting new records on the UK charts. She is at number 24 on our mid-year chart. KPop Demon Hunters and RAYE are also hoping to make our Top 40 for the very first time.

The final chart will be revealed on the first Sunday of the New Year.
