Radio Brockley to Broadcast RNOH Buttercup Walk 2018
This Saturday 23rd June sees the annual Buttercup Walk event at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. It’s the hospital’s biggest annual fund-raising event, and once again Radio Brockley volunteers will be supporting the event with live coverage of the event on air, and a stall selling RB merchandise and other goodies.
The event starts at midday on Saturday at the Orthotics field at the RNOH, and Radio Brockley will be live on air at the same time with a special show, hosted by David Rauch. There will be a team of reporters bringing updates from some of the stall holders, organisers and participants. The walk itself starts at 1pm.
Other attractions on the day will include children’s rides, a raffle, a live band, and a dog show. You can find out more about the event, and read about its history here
Radio Brockley will also be playing out highlights of the event our “Brockley News” show, which will be made available online on our YouTube channel afterwards.
