Radio Brockley Introduces New COVID-19 Podcast Channel

Radio Brockley has started a series of specially recorded programmes to support the work of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital during the Coronavirus outbreak.

The channel – called “RNOH COVID-19 Shows” – is available to download or listen on demand on most of the major podcast sites. The programmes include specially recorded “Brockley News” shows, recorded from home, and featuring interviews with the RNOH Associate Medical Director, Dr Adam Benton, and the Deputy Director of Organisational Development and Education, Michelle Hodgkinson. They answer a series of questions on the current situation at the RNOH, and how patients, staff and visitors are adapting to the new restrictions in place.

There is also a new series by Rebecca Lewis, and her mum Caroline, who look at ways to combat anxiety during this difficult time.

Demand for Radio Brockley’s podcasts has massively increased in recent weeks, as patients are being directed towards these new “on demand” shows, as well as the regular weekday schedule. Live programmes at the station remain suspended until further notice, and we will continue to provide updates on forthcoming shows as we get them.
