Our Team
Having joined Radio Brockley in 1971, David is Radio Brockley's longest serving member. Whilst supporting many of the stations behind the scenes activities, he presents Chain Reaction as well as co-presenting The Sunday Request Show.
Keith was a patient at the RNOH in the '60s and 70's, joining Radio Brockley in 1977. In 2016 he was awarded the HBA's prestigious 'John Whitney Award' for his outstanding contribution to UK Hospital Broadcasting. Keith presents Decade Delights - 1970's and some editions of That Was The Year That Was. He's also the narrator for the "Searching For The Grey Lady - a Ghost at the RNOH" podcasts.
Neil joined Radio Brockley in 2017 and has become a regular patient visiting team member and co-presenter of The Sunday Request Show.
Nicky joined Radio Brockley in 2022 after a period volunteering at our hospital in another role. He soon settled in as a regular contributor to The Sunday Request Show and Tuesday Request Show, when he visits patients for a chat, collects requests and presents them on air.
In 2023 he became a trustee of the station.
Alan is a stalwart of Radio Brockley, joining us in 1991. In that time he has featured in many successful shows and has been an award winner. He currently presents Rewind, hosts most editions of Brockley News and co-presents our award winning new music show Alpha Sessions.
Emma was the founder of our award winning new music show Alpha Sessions in 2008 and is still very much involved in its production and presentation. She also presents Decade Delights - The Nineties.
Julie has been working in special educational needs early years for 20+ years and making a difference to others lives is her lifetime ambition. So, in July 2024 she joined Radio Brockley as a volunteer patient visitor and co-presenter of the Sunday Request Show as Julie loves music and how it can make people feel happy.
Lucy is one of the co-presenters of our award winning new music show Alpha Sessions
Macie is the presenter of her own The Seasons Show and one of the co-presenters of our new music show Alpha Sessions
Margaret has been a key member of our request show teams since 2013. Keep an eye out for her on your ward as you can't miss her friendly, chatty personality.
Martin is another of our hospital radio stawarts, joing Radio Brockley in 1991. He is an integral part of the Tuesday Request Show, plus he presents his own Yesterday Once More and Sound Tracks shows.
Paul was a great supporter and friend to Radio Brockley, it's volunteers and the patients for many years. You can hear him present some editions of That Was The Year That Was and the Classic Request Show
Priscilla is one of our request show team, visiting patients for a friendly chat, collecting requests and presenting them. She has also featured in a Channel 4 TV series called Helluva Tour.
Rebecca co-presents Decade Delights - The Naughties with Lee Pillar and some editions of That Was The Year That Was
Ron joined Radio Brockley in 1974 and is one of our many award winners, being involved in many of our finest achievements over the years. He's a big country music fan, so presents Country Music Weekly and Country Music Stories. He's also a co-presenter and editor of our award winning new music show Alpha Sessions.
Sue currently presents Afternoon Delight.
In 2016 she won the HBA Silver award for Best Speech Package, a show she co-presented with Ron Laver about the RNOH Clinical Trials Day. The judges said “The judges enjoyed this entry, loving the variety and the ambition that went in to preparing this piece. The descriptions were ideal, bringing the event to life.”
