Radio Brockley Nominated for Three Awards at 2020 HBA Awards

Radio Brockley has got the new year and the new decade off to a flying start by being nominated for three awards at the 2020 Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA) awards, which will this year be held in Bolton. This year’s nominations include the prestigious “Station Of The Year” award, for which we won Gold in 2016 and 2018 and have been nominated for the 8th year in a row.

Station Of The Year

Best Specialist Music Programme – Bedside Broadway (with Sophie Horrocks)

Best Speech Package – Up On The Roof (hosted by Caroline Keating)

Ron Laver and Alan Joyce edited the year’s packages, which this year included a significant change in the rules, so that only unedited clips could be used.

The results will be announced at the gala awards event in Bolton on Saturday 28th March. Fingers crossed for another successful evening.
